Hi, Just wanted to throw a shout out there that Episode #4 of My Entry Blank should be uploaded tomorrow evening. I am still working out a schedule. I know I have said before that "I'm a newbee" and still stream lining my production time. Time just passes so quickly doesn't it. I just realized that about a week has passed since my last entry! I'll have to do better than that!
How is you running going? Love to hear from you. Drop me an eMail at MyEntryBlank@gmail.com with your race report or if you would just like to share a recent mile stone. I'd enjoy hearing about it and share it with the other six out there listening and reading! This is all so humbling, no doubt.
I've been doing better. I had a bit of an over use thing going on with my shins again. took a few days off then jumped right back into it. Amazing how taking a little time to let your body heal can make all of the difference, I feel so much stronger now!
I do hope that this post finds you in good spirits and with health in which to run like the wind!
Have a great day!
-DC

Episode #3 Has been Uploaded! Yay!
Well, it did take a while to get a couple technical difficulties straighten out not to mention life just seemed to get in the way (not complaining, just saying :) ) But it's there/here/available. How is everyone? Me lots of craziness to spare you the drama. Still building a small business in the graphics arts/photography realm and keep pushing forward.
As for Episode #3. This run was recorded as I took a run from the area in Raleigh, NC known as Glenwood South area. I ran from there across the tracks and down Hillsborough Street to the NC State Capital Building, down Fayetteville to the Performing Arts Building and back. This was my first run through downtown and look forward to doing it again soon. It's such an awesome feeling running through the streets and under the high-rise buildings.
As for the official show notes, they are: Opening and closing music is by "Uncle Seth" with there song "To Be An Angel", They can be found on MusicAlley.com and UncleSeth.com. Just an awesome band out of Canada.
The featured music is by Jean Synodinos and her song "Running With Me" Her music can be found at:JeanSynodinos.com Next time I'm in Austin,TX Sarah and I are going to find where this ladys' singin' !

Today is 10.10.10
My 10.10.10,
Started with me running the World Wide Festival of Races 10k. It was a difficult run to "Get into". Just had a lot of heavy thoughts bouncing around in my head and just could not get focused. But where did I find my motivation? Knowing that there were people al over the world, running the same race I was. Absolutely awesome! I was quite happy to finish my 10k in under an hour.
Many many congratulations to ALL of the runners of the "World Wide Festival of Races"!

My first run through Downtown Raleigh...
Howdy,
DC here with a quick run report. Yesterday evening I took a run through Downtown Raleigh from the Glenwood South area. It was a nice run limited elevation changes and all. But the best part? Being able to look up as I ran through the middle of what for me is usually a distant skyline. I know that there are many cities around the country and the world for that matter that are more densely populated, with taller buildings and such. But I have learned over the past year or so that Raleigh can be as big as you want it to be, or as hometown as you will let it be. On a personal note I am getting comfortable here. Many more opportunities, business wise and such. But in the end, is it a place were I can take a run and feel the most part comfortable? Yes. And I like that.

Why do I run? I must borrow a sentence from Dr.Sheehan
I run each day to preserve the self I attained the day before. -Dr George Sheehan
I do hope this post finds you in good standing with all that matters to you. What an awesome day it has been so far. I woke up to a crisp breeze blowing that tells me that fall is definitely here, or is so close that a warm snap will shock us all.
My running has improved as the temperature has dropped and I have went from panting to enjoying a longer stride and longer runs. I am again amazed at what our bodies can do when challenged and pushed to new limits. My new found strength and mental clarity associated with a better overall state of being has left me resting better than I have in a couple of years. I have even found that the excitement and anticipation for the next day has made it difficult to get to sleep. Even with my lifes pending day to day issues. Funny, It has been less than weeks that the opposite were true.
What a thrill it was to run 7+ miles in the cool night air without taking a walk-break to try and recover from the heat of Raleigh...
